I really like the atmosphere here, and the very warm welcome we seem to be getting from the site owner, squeaky. That's very encouraging. Encouraging enough for me to have worked out a layout and uploaded a stack of icons, anyway! After all the drama and intensity that's been on LJ for the past week, it's a pleasant change to discover some fun.

squeaky's TOS seem very sensible, and it's clear that there's a welcome for fandom, so perhaps this is a viable alternative for us. I know that a lot of people have concerns about JF as a site due to the age restriction, but this might work well for us. Here's hoping we can find a happy place and settle down.
